Description
40 Cariboo cards (two sets, one with words and one without words) related to gardening vocabulary. Can also be used as small flash cards for other activities.
Strategies and techniques
Suggestions for Use:
Print, laminate, cut out and place in a bag for storage. Place inside Cariboo doors or in sensory bins.
Have children identify item names expressively/receptively.
Have children identify objects by description: Find me the item that holds the garden pieces, find me an item that goes in the dirt, etc.
Have children answer wh- questions or place in sentences while playing.
