About

Meghan has experience working with individuals of all ages and abilities.  Meghan allows each child to feel confident and valued by weaving communication goals into motivating activities using DIR floortime techniques and sensory strategies.  Meghan specializes in the areas of autism, gestalt language processing, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), early language development, phonological processing disorders, and orofacial myofunctional disorders.  Meghan earned her bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family studies with a minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Michigan State University and her master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Toledo. 

Meghan is licensed in the state of North Carolina and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.  Meghan has advanced training in gestalt language processing (NLA Trained through Meaningful Speech), PRC AAC devices, supporting Autistic children using strengths-based approaches, and orofacial myofunctional disorders.  Meghan enjoys being outdoors, spending time with friends, family and her pets, and exploring new restaurants.
