Lindsey Dial

I began my journey in speech therapy by attending my brother's early intervention sessions or audiology appointments, etc. I witnessed how with strong family support and dedication- early intervention works! Eventually, I received /r/ therapy in the school system and discovered that I also had hearing loss. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be in the therapy world. I can also empathize with patients due to being on the "receiving side" of therapy/medical intervention. 

I worked in the school system, skilled nursing, and outpatient clinics prior to joining the Sidekick team. Early in my career, I had a goal to be a "generalist" in an outpatient setting so I have treated various communication and feeding/swallowing disorders (i.e., AAC, TBI, stuttering, muscle tension dysphonia, dysphagia, etc.). I specialize in pediatric speech sound disorders, complex communication needs and feeding/swallowing disorders. I also specialize in adult fluency disorders, speech sound disorders and cognitive/linguistic disorders.
