- She told her famous scary story of spotting a monster in those very woods. It was a cool day just like that day when she heard a rustling noise that was louder than the faint breeze that was blowing through the trees. She wondered what was out in the woods when she decided to go investigate the situation. She began to walk away from her tent when she saw something move in the distance and heard the snap of a fallen tree branch. She continued to see what broke the branch. As she was walking alone in the dark with the moon shining above, she saw something large with hair running past her. While she was walking her foot stepped into what seemed like a small depression in the earth when she suddenly saw the shadow of the large creature in the distance. She quickly realized that she had stepped in the large foot-like tracks from the monster.

I saw a squirrel and I started to chase it. I ran so fast that I got a stitch in my side. I quickly stopped and caught my breath. As I was catching my breath, I saw my friend Sally on the swings at the nearby playground. She had her dog with her. As I approached her, she also saw the squirrel run up in the tree, and her dog began to bark. We was so close, but couldn't catch it. I laughed with Sally and we went home to grab snacks and lemonade to talk about our adventure.
- Rosa woke up in her room on Saturday morning feeling so excited to meet her friend Marta at the park. She sprang out of bed and ran to the closet to get dressed. Then she quickly ran downstairs for some breakfast so they could leave quickly for the playground, however, as soon as she looked out the window and saw the weather, she became very sad. Rosa was disappointed but decided to ask her father if she could invite Marta over to her house instead of going to the park. Her dad agreed and they called Marta’s mother together to ask if she could come over. 30 minutes later, Marta’s mom dropped her off at Rosa’s house and they spent the afternoon playing hide and seek around the house. Rosa was happy that she could still spend time with her friend, even if they weren’t able to go to the park as planned.
- Do you like amusement parks? Well I sure do. To amuse myself I went twice last spring. My most memorable moment was riding on the Caterpillar which is a gigantic rollercoaster high above the ground. When I saw how high the Caterpillar rose into the bright blue sky, I knew it was for me. After waiting in line for thirty minutes I made it to the front where the man measured my height to see if I was tall enough. I gave the man my coins asked for change and jumped on the cart. Tick tick tick the Caterpillar climbed slowly up the tracks. It went so high I could see the parking lot. Boy was I scared. I thought to myself there's no turning back now. People were so scared they screamed as we swiftly zoomed fast fast and faster along the tracks. As quickly as it started the Caterpillar came to a stop. Unfortunately, it was time to pack the car and drive home. That night I dreamt of the wild ride on the Caterpillar. Taking a trip to the amusement park and riding on the Caterpillar was my most memorable moment ever!
