Weather Board
Description
I created this to identify and talk about weather vocabulary. This has different kinds of weather with a 1:1 matching activity with smaller pictures.
Strategies and techniques
I use this with "What’s the weather like today, like today" song as well as "If all the raindrops were lemon drops and gum drops song." We look out the window and identify the weather. For children who are visually challenged I hold up the large pictures and have them identify with eye gaze/pointing. With other children, I have them match today’s weather and then we talk about other weather.
