Better Speech Resource. Each card contains a wh- question and associated image. The child should try to make inferences using the picture and question as a guide.
Strategies and techniques
This resource can be used to help the child understand and make inferences. An inference is a conclusion reached on the basis of evidence and reasoning. Have the child read or listen to the question on the card and then try to answer the question based on the image. If at any time the child cannot answer the question, have them describe the picture.
