Teletherapy Whiteboard
How do I use the Whiteboard in Teletherapy?
The Whiteboard allows you and your patient to draw, write, and interact together during a teletherapy session. It’s designed to support activities in speech, occupational, and physical therapy — including handwriting practice, visual-motor tasks, and interactive drawing.
What tools are available on the Whiteboard?
- Select tool: Click or drag to highlight drawings or objects. Once selected, you can move, resize, rotate, or delete them.
- Drawing tools: Use the pen for freehand drawing, the line tool for straight lines, and the arrow tool to support interactive drawing tasks.
- Shape tools: Add shapes like rectangles, circles, or triangles to the canvas.
- Text tool: Type directly on the Whiteboard to support writing practice.
- Eraser tool: Click on an object to remove it from the canvas.
- Drag and drop: Move objects on the Whiteboard as needed.
- Undo and redo: Reverse or restore recent changes.
- Copy and paste: Duplicate existing elements on the Whiteboard.
Can I control when the patient can draw on the Whiteboard?
Yes. When you open the Whiteboard, it is locked by default. You can unlock it at any time, and re-lock it as needed. This allows you to guide when the patient is able to interact with the Whiteboard.
Can patients see what is drawn on the Whiteboard?
Yes. Everything drawn on the Whiteboard is visible in real time to both you and your patient.
Can I delete or move individual objects without erasing the entire Whiteboard?
Yes. Use the Select tool to choose any object. You can then delete or move just that object without affecting the rest of the Whiteboard.
