How do I set up faxing?

Note: Our faxing feature is part of the paid Professional plan.

First, go to your Organization Menu, and then click 'Edit organization'.



Link to 'Edit Organization'.







Next, go to 'Faxing Settings'. From here, you can either instantly generate a fax number on Ambiki, or you can port a previously existing fax number. Please click Save when finished.

Note: Setting up faxing in Ambiki is quick and straightforward:

  • Purchasing a New Fax Number: This process typically takes about five minutes. You can choose a new fax number directly within Ambiki, and it will be ready for use almost immediately.

  • Porting an Existing Fax Number: If you’re porting an existing fax number to Ambiki, the process can take anywhere from a couple of days to a few weeks. The exact time frame depends on your current provider and their procedures for number transfers.

We recommend initiating the porting process as early as possible to ensure a smooth transition.
