Summary by Persona (Grouped by Role)
👩⚕️ Clinicians / Therapists
- Clearer, inclusive language (“session summary”) better fits adult patients and diverse caregiver roles, improving communication and documentation.
🧑💼 Admins
- Consistent terminology across visit notes, recordings, and the portal reduces confusion and support questions; no configuration changes required.
💳 Billers / Guardians
- Guardians and other caregivers receive terminology that accurately reflects their role; patients see language that applies to them directly.
🛠️ Update - Inclusive wording for session summaries
👥 Audience: Therapists, Admins, Patients, and Caregivers
❗ Change: The term “parent-friendly summary” has been updated to “session summary” across visit notes, session recordings, and the patient portal. This update removes limiting language and makes the feature more inclusive. Since many SLPs work with adult patients or non-parent caregivers (such as spouses, guardians, or other family members), the new wording better reflects real-world use and supports clearer, more appropriate sharing with both patients and caregivers.
Thank you for choosing Ambiki.
