Summary by Persona (Grouped by Role)
π©ββοΈ Clinicians / Therapists
- Early Intervention billing can now account for program-specific codes, units, and daily practitioner limits based on documented services.
π§βπΌ Admins
- Admins can support new Early Intervention billing workflows, choose among a family's saved payment methods, and review more detailed attendance information from the Sessions list.
π³ Billers / Guardians
-
Billers: Early Intervention claims can use program-specific codes and units, daily limits can be checked automatically, and secondary claim unit and remittance handling have been corrected.
-
Guardians/Patients: When a family has multiple saved payment methods, staff can choose which saved card to charge without changing who the bill is addressed to.
π New Feature - Early Intervention Billing Support
π₯ Audience: Practices that bill Early Intervention (Part C) services to Medicaid programs
π οΈ Steps to Access: Contact Ambiki Support and weβll help you get set up.
π’ What's new?: Ambiki can now convert documented billing codes and units into the program-specific codes and units required for Early Intervention billing.
This means that when a child has multiple coverages, the Early Intervention payer can be billed using its required program codes while other insurance is billed using the codes documented on the visit.
Claims, remittances, and authorizations will follow the codes actually billed to each payer.
π οΈ Fix - Secondary Claim Units and Remittance Matching
π₯ Audience: Practices that bill secondary payers
β Issue: In certain cases, a secondary claim could report the wrong unit count for the prior payerβs line, or a remittance could be sent to the manual queue when it referenced the code billed on the invoice line.
β
Action Steps: Nothing. Existing claims will not change automatically. If needed, refreshing the prior payer adjustments on a claim will apply the corrected information.
π New Feature - Early Intervention Daily Limit Support
π₯ Audience: Practices that bill Early Intervention (Part C) services
π οΈ Steps to Access: Contact Ambiki Support and weβll help you get set up.
π’ What's new?: Ambiki can now automatically check Early Intervention billing units against the programβs daily limits for each practitioner.
π οΈ Fix - Choose Between Saved Payment Methods
π₯ Audience: Admins, Billers
β Issue: For families paying privately with more than one saved payment method, it was sometimes not possible to choose which saved card to charge.
β
Action Steps: None. The payment screen now lets you choose any of the family's saved payment methods, with inactive ones clearly labeled, without changing who the bill is addressed to.
π New Feature - More Detailed Attendance Reporting in the Sessions List
π₯ Audience: Admins
π οΈ Steps to Access: Organization dashboards > Attendance > Sessions list
π’ What's new?: The Sessions list now shows the attendance that was marked for each session, with the reason given, and you can filter by it (for example No show or Client canceled). A summary above the list shows how many sessions had each attendance for the filters you chose. The list opens on the last 30 days, with quick ranges such as Today, Last week and Last month, and a new Session type filter narrows the list to individual or group sessions.
π οΈ Fix - Sessions and Events Attendance Filters Return the Correct Results
π₯ Audience: Admins
β Issue: On the Sessions list, the End date did not include the last day of the range, so a single-day range showed nothing. The All Present filter on the Events page in Records Center also showed no results.
β
Action Steps: None.
Thank you for choosing Ambiki.
