Summary by Persona (Grouped by Role)
👩⚕️ Clinicians / Therapists
- Therapists have better protection against losing unsaved clinical documentation, can see physician order end dates on caseloads, will receive corrected physician order alerts, can send uploaded PDFs by fax more reliably, and can see diagnosis codes again in the Evaluations record center.
🧑💼 Admins
- Admins can show physician order end dates on caseloads, will see corrected physician order alerts and history, can access diagnosis codes in evaluation records and exports, and new trial organizations will receive complete demo data for the example patient.
💳 Billers / Guardians
-
Billers: Itemized patient statements now show the correct amount due for visits billed after the statement period.
-
Guardians/Patients: Patient portal invitations work more reliably, and families receive a sign-in link once their password is set.
🛠️ Fix - Unsaved Clinical Work Is Protected and Can Be Restored
👥 Audience: Therapists
❗ Issue: Some therapists lost work on evaluations and other clinical documents when they were signed out while working, or when a save did not go through.
✅ Action Steps: None. Ambiki now keeps you signed in while you are actively working, holds your work on the page if you need to sign in again before saving, and offers to restore unsaved work when you come back to a document.
🛠️ Fix - Patient Portal Invitations Work Reliably
👥 Audience: Parents, guardians and patients using the patient portal
❗ Issue: Some families could not set up their patient portal password when their practice sent the invitation more than once, and some were sent to the practice sign up page instead of back to their portal.
✅ Action Steps: None. Every invitation email now works until the password is set, parents receive an email with their sign in link once their password is set, and each patient's Patient portal tab shows the family's sign in link to share.
🛠️ Fix - Itemized Statements Show the Correct Amount Due
👥 Audience: Billers, Admins
📅 Date range affected: Itemized patient statements for visits billed after the statement period
❗ Issue: We fixed an issue where an itemized patient statement could show $0 due for a visit that was billed after the statement period.
✅ Action Steps: Statements created before this fix are not changed. To bill an affected visit, create a new itemized statement for that period.
🛠️ Fix - Example Patient Demo History Loads Automatically
👥 Audience: New organizations on a trial
❗ Issue: For some new organizations, the example patient did not finish loading its demo history, so the profile looked empty.
✅ Action Steps: None. The example patient's demo history now loads on its own.
🚀 New Feature - Show Physician Order End Dates on Caseloads
👥 Audience: Practices using Caseloads
🛠️ Steps to Access: Organization Settings → EMR Settings → Caseloads → check "Physician order end date"
📢 What's new?: You can now show each patient's physician order end date on your caseloads, making it easier to spot upcoming expirations at a glance.
🛠️ Fix - Physician Order Alerts and History Stay Up to Date
👥 Audience: Therapists and admins
❗ Issue: Some physician orders that ran out, or were close to running out, did not show an alert on the home page or on the patient profile. The order's history could also show outdated information.
✅ Action Steps: None. Alerts for these orders will reappear automatically after each nightly update; the cleanup below restores the ones already affected.
🛠️ Fix - Uploaded PDFs Send by Fax More Reliably
👥 Audience: Anyone who sends faxes
❗ Issue: Some faxes with an uploaded PDF would not send.
✅ Action Steps: If a fax failed, open the document and send a new fax from it. The page for a failed fax now also names any file that could not be read, so you know which one to replace.
🛠️ Fix - Diagnosis Codes Return to the Evaluations Record Center
👥 Audience: Therapists, Admins
📅 Date range affected: August 24, 2026 until this release
❗ Issue: We fixed an issue where the diagnosis codes column was missing from the Evaluations record center and its Excel export.
✅ Action Steps: None. If you have customized the columns on that page, add Diagnosis codes from the column settings.
