Summary by Persona (Grouped by Role)

👩‍⚕️ Clinicians / Therapists

  • Therapists will see accurate copay amounts based on payment method changes, and the Today list and Teletherapy room will only show appointments from the current practice.

🧑‍💼 Admins

  • Admins will see more accurate copay information, clearer teammate invitation and two-factor authentication workflows, corrected custom form input settings, and faster authorization dashboard loading.

💳 Billers / Guardians

  • Billers: Copay amounts now reflect payment method changes correctly, and the authorization dashboard loads faster and shows when an authorization number is not required.

  • Guardians/Patients: Patient portal families will see clearer messages when an account has been deleted, including how to request restoration.

🛠️ Fix - Copay Amounts Reflect Payment Method Changes Correctly

👥 Audience: Therapists, Admins, Billers

❗ Issue: Some payment method changes were not reflected in copay amounts on the calendar and in payment method views for past dates.

✅ Action Steps: None.

🛠️ Fix - Today List and Teletherapy Room Show Only the Current Practice's Appointments

👥 Audience: Therapists

❗ Issue: For practices without any patients yet, the Today list on the home page and the teletherapy room could show appointments from another practice.

✅ Action Steps: None.

🛠️ Fix - Clearer Teammate Invitations and Two-Factor Authentication Reset Process

👥 Audience: Admins

❗ Issue: Teammates who already have an Ambiki account join your practice by accepting an invitation. Two-factor authentication for a teammate is now reset by Ambiki support, so the reset button no longer appears on the teammate page.

✅ Action Steps: To add a teammate, use Invite teammate. To reset a teammate's two-factor authentication, contact Ambiki support.

🛠️ Fix - Custom Form Input Fields Keep Their Selected Types

👥 Audience: Admins who build custom form templates

📅 Date range affected: Since June 2023

❗ Issue: In the custom form editor, a filtered input field could be saved with a different input type than the one shown. Opening an existing phone, email, number or date field and saving it without changes could turn it into a plain text field, and a newly added field could keep the input type chosen for the previous one.

✅ Action Steps: Review the filtered input fields on your templates. If one has the wrong input type, open it in the form editor, choose the input type again, and save the template.

🛠️ Fix - Deleted Accounts Show Clearer Messages and Restoration Guidance

👥 Audience: Practices and Patient Portal families

📅 Date range affected: Ongoing until deploy

❗ Issue: If someone deleted their Ambiki account, a few pages still treated it as active. The password reset page let them choose a new password that would not sign them in, the Patient portal tab showed them as joined, and resending their invitation reported success even though the invitation could not work. These pages now explain that the account was deleted and that Ambiki support can restore it.

✅ Action Steps: None. If someone says they deleted their account by mistake, contact Ambiki support to restore it.

🛠️ Fix - Faster Authorization Dashboard and Clearer Authorization Requirements

👥 Audience: Admins and billers using the practice dashboard

❗ Issue: The authorizations section of the practice dashboard could load slowly, and it did not show when an authorization number was not needed.

✅ Action Steps: None.

Thank you for choosing Ambiki.
