Summary by Persona (Grouped by Role)

👩‍⚕️ Clinicians / Therapists

  • Co-signature requests: Request a licensed co-signer on visit notes, evals, discharges, and POCs; optionally set the co-signer as the rendering provider for billing.

  • PDF signatures fixed: Signature blocks render correctly on PDFs.

  • Communication log: Preserves your entered formatting (e.g., line breaks) for clearer review.

🧑‍💼 Admins

  • Co-signature workflow: Built-in notifications and optional rendering-provider swap support supervision and compliance.

  • Communication log consistency: Cleaner, more readable audit trail across the org.

💳 Billers / Guardians

  • Billing accuracy: Option to set the co-signer as rendering provider helps align documentation with payer rules.

  • No direct portal changes for guardians.

🚀 New Feature — Documentation Co-Signature Requests (Visit Notes, Evaluations, Discharges, Plans of Care)

  • 👥 Audience: Therapists & Admins

  • 🛠️ Steps to Access: Before signing a visit note, evaluation, discharge or plan of care, click Actions → Co-signatures. Make a request to a licensed teammate and sign the document. The teammate will be notified and will have to sign the document for it to be fully signed.

  • 📢 What's new?: A licensed therapist can now request a co-signature from other licensed therapists. Optionally, the requested signing user can replace the author as the rendering provider for insurance billing. e.g. An SLP can request a co-signature on a Visit Note from another CCC-SLP teammate.

🛠️ Fix — PDF Signature Block Rendering

  • 👥 Audience: Therapists

  • ❗ Issue: Some signature blocks on pdfs were being rendered incorrectly.

🛠️ Polish — Improved Communication Log Formatting

  • 👥 Audience: Therapists, Admins

  • 🛠️ Update: We improved the communication log details to keep formatting (e.g. new lines) as entered.
