Summary by Persona (Grouped by Role)

👩‍⚕️ Clinicians / Therapists

  • Goals now appear when editing a discharge, even if the patient’s Plan of Care is expired (as long as a Plan of Care exists for the same discipline).

🧑‍💼 Admins

  • Patient Portal notifications are now delivered as batched email digests, grouping clinical items separately from billing items to reduce inbox clutter.

💳 Billers / Guardians

  • Guardians/Patients: Fewer, clearer Patient Portal emails via summarized digests.

  • Billers: Billing-related portal updates are grouped into a dedicated digest.

🚀 New Feature: Patient Portal Email digests (batched emails)

👥 Audience: Admins
🛠️ Steps to Access: Share documents to the patient portal as normal.
📢 What's new?:
To improve the patient experience, portal notifications are now delivered in summarized emails. Clinical items such as intake documents and homework are grouped together, while billing items like invoices and superbills are sent in a separate summary, making updates easier to review without overwhelming inboxes.

🛠️ Fix - Goals now appear when editing discharges with expired Plans of Care

👥 Audience: Therapists
❗ Issue: Goals were not appearing when editing a discharge when the patient's plan of care was expired. The goals will not appear upon edit as long as a plan of care exists for this patient with the same discipline as the discharge.
