Organization EMR Schedule Settings: Past Event Lock Window
How do I change the lock window setting?
- Click the Organization menu and Select Edit organization.
2. In EMR settings, go to the Schedule section and adjust Past event edit window to the lock window you want.
What is the Past event edit window?
The Past event edit window controls how far back a past event on the therapist calendar can be changed before it becomes locked. Once an event is locked, regular users can’t edit it.
What does Always editable mean?
If this is set to Always editable, then past events don’t become locked based on age (but see the checked in rule below).
Who can edit past events even if they’re locked?
Schedule administrators — users with the Manage all Schedules for the Organization permission — can override the lock to create and edit past events.
Are there any events that can’t be edited at all?
Yes. Events with one or more patients checked in cannot be edited.
If you need to make changes, please clear the check-in status first, and you’ll be able to edit the event again.
