How to Ensure Time Zones Are Aligned for Accurate Clinical Documentation

Ambiki uses three different time zone settings:

Clinic Time Zone: This setting applies to the overall clinic or practice and is used for clinic-wide scheduling and documentation.

To change the clinic time zone, go to Organization menu > Edit Organization, and scroll to the Organization Default Timezone dropdown, which can be edited to select the correct time zone.

Therapist Time Zone: Each therapist can set their own time zone, which affects their individual schedule and documentation.

To change the therapist's time zone, go to Edit Profile > About Me, then scroll to the Timezone field, which can be edited to the correct time zone.

Patient Portal Time Zone: This setting is for the patient portal and reflects the time zone of the patient accessing it.

To ensure that times appear correctly aligned on all clinical documentation, both the clinic and therapist time zones need to be the same. If these are not aligned, you may notice discrepancies in the times displayed in your clinical documents.

If you find that times are not appearing correctly, please check and adjust both the clinic and therapist time zone settings to make sure they match.
