How to add an insurance card image to the patient portal 


 


**Before uploading an insurance card image to the patient portal, please confirm that 'insurance' is added as a payment method in the patient profile. To add an insurance card image to the patient portal, ensure that you are signed in to Ambiki as a parent/legal guardian and on the patient portal dashboard: 


  1. Click on ‘Billing’ tab which is located at the top of your screen.

2. Locate the patient's name. Under their information, you will see a Payment method section and below that an Insurance section. Next to the name of the insurance company, click 'Add insurance card image’. 
 
 

 
 







3. Upload your insurance card image and click on the button labelled ‘Update payment method’ to save the changes.
