Connecting Your Own Clearinghouse Account Through Ambiki

Last updated: October 13, 2025
Overview

Ambiki supports integration with several major clearinghouses for electronic claims and remittance processing. If your practice already has an account with a clearinghouse, you can connect it directly to streamline billing and ensure claims are sent electronically without manual uploads or re-enrolling with payers you already work with.

Currently, we support the following clearinghouses:

  • Office Ally
  • Claim.MD
  • Availity

Each clearinghouse requires slightly different information to establish a SFTP connection. For specific field-level details, please refer to the Companion Guides provided by each clearinghouse. Connecting your own account is optional — if you don’t already have a clearinghouse account, Ambiki can handle claim submission for you.

General Setup Steps

  1. Obtain Credentials
Get your clearinghouse’s login or trading partner information (such as Submitter ID and SFTP credentials).

  2. Enter Credentials in Ambiki
Go to: Billing → EDI claim settings
Enter your credentials, select the type of clearinghouse and enter the required fields.

  3. Monitor Claim Responses
Depending on the clearinghouse, acknowledgments (999/277CA) and ERA (835) files can be automatically imported into Ambiki. Check the appropriate boxes to send, receive or download ERA 835s.
